Introduction to Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Want to try the fastest-growing paddle sport in the nation? Here is a great opportunity for the novice SUP-er or “never been before but always wanted to try it” paddler. Come join Bill &` Katelyn Allen and learn the essential skills and knowledge you need for Stand-Up Paddling, on boards especially designed for ease of use and learning. In a one-day on-the-water instruction, we will cover the basics of SUP’s, types of boards, getting on and off, basic paddle strokes and essential safety issues. Then there will be plenty of time to practice in a quiet, flat water environment.

Section II: Saturday, 6/22, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM for 1 session

This class will help guide you in making the appropriate choices for your vacationers individual wants and needs while visiting the mouse! We will discuss which lodging option works best for you, which parks are most appropriate for the guests in your party, where to dine, what methods of transportation are available while in the world and how you can get the most Disney Magic out of your visit! We will cover ticket options, Fastpasses, Magicbands, dining plans, special seasonal events that may be happening during your stay, tours, dinner shows and many of the additional options for fun that are available to you other than the four Walt Disney World parks. There is so much to do, so much to see and this course will help you focus on what will be the most fun for all the different people in your vacationing group! There will be an open forum at the end of the class for any questions you may have…let’s enjoy the planning together! If attendees would like to bring a tablet or iPad to class, it will be helpful as you receive websites and online information to further assist you with your vacation planning.
