Are you looking for an amazing culinary experience to share with family or friends? Our next Tasty Tunes & Funky Foods event is an exclusive Spring getaway at the historic Old River House in scenic Kennebunkport, Maine.
The event begins with a hands-on cooking lesson with Stonewall and LeRoux Kitchen's cooking instructor Chris Toy. The freshly made four course dinner and dessert is followed by a private concert with Grammy Award winning songwriter Monte Selby. Chris and Monte will customize the dinner and concert specifically for the evening's guests, promising an unforgettable and unique getaway.
The cost is $245 per person Single Occupancy/$195 per person **Double Occupancy includes the group cooking lesson, dinner for 12 guests, live music, overnight accommodations, plus a breakfast tutorial and meal the following morning. New friends and great conversations at no extra charge! Feel free to provide your own adult beverages and please note dietary restrictions when registering.
**Most of the rooms in this historic house have one “double” size bed. All rooms require use of stairs.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Trip - Boston's North End

When Isabella created her museum, she wanted it to be “for the education and enjoyment of the public forever.” Join our celebrated chef and travel guide, Chris Toy, as he leads you into the immersive environment that is the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Isabella’s decades long collecting resulted in the acquisition of more than 7,500 paintings, many from Medieval and Renaissance masters, sculptures, furniture, textiles, ceramics, silver, rare books and many other archival objects collected from around the world. Along with the museum tour, Chis will take you to the North End to explore the North End eateries and shopping. The trip includes transportation via Amtrak. Train departs Portland Transportation Center 8:15 AM, and returns from Boston’s North End Station 4:50 PM. The cost of this trip includes round trip Amtrak fare, MBTA transportation fee, and your personalized tour guide. Museum tickets will be available to purchase onsite, adults/$15 seniors/$12. No refunds.

Windham History On-The-Road

Celebrate Maine’s bicentennial year by attending this two-session course on the rich history and proud heritage of the town of Windham. Session I will be a power point presentation featuring historic photos and maps. Session II is a three-hour bus tour highlighting historic points of interest, including canal and mill sites and stories of the founding and growth of Windham from 1737 to the present. Find out how Windham residents voted on the question of separation from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1819. You may be surprised. Space is limited, please register early!
