CPR Session I

The CPR class includes: adult, child and infant CPR and AED use, adult, child and infant choking how and when to call emergency services. The course cost includes all necessary practical components, and a certification from the American Heart Association. The workbook is not included in the fee. If you would like a workbook, please check the box on your online registration form. You pay the instructor for the book on the night of the class. Book fee: $10.

Emergency Medical Technician Blended Learning Program

This is a Maine State approved EMT course.  This course prepares students for the entrance level to work on an ambulance.  This is a face-to-face course, utilizing an online platform to enhance learning and classroom activities. This course will require a majority of the coursework to be done on-line on a personal computer.  There will be face to face/in class sessions with instructors to learn the practical skills needed to be an EMT.  Students can expect to spend a minimum of 25 hours each week on the course doing the required reading and assignments. A minimum of 24 clinical hours are required. Additional clinical time may be required to complete the clinical objectives. All students will be required to provide immunization documentation prior to clinical. Students who successfully complete this course are eligible to sit for the National Registry EMT (NREMT) exam. NREMT Practical testing fees are included in the price of this course.  Written testing fees and Maine licensing fees are NOT included. Course fee includes: textbook, background check, access to MyBradyLab, EMT Test prep, clinical shirt. ServSafe training and certification is recognized by more federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification. This course teaches safe food handling, how to protect public health through food safety best practices, and much more.  Join Instructor Jennifer Mayberry for this two-day certification workshop or join the second day to review and test for your recertification.
