If not, this seminar will help familiarize you with the basic steps of estate planning, including the function of a will and the different types of trusts. In this class, we will have a guest Attorney, James Spaulding of Barns Greenfield and Thornton present. Jonathan Priest is a 20-year resident of Windham, with 15 years of experience as a Licensed Insurance Agent for State Farm and Allstate, and he recently opened his own MetLife agency in the center of North Windham. He holds current licensure in both Maine and New Hampshire to sell, service and (most importantly) educate clients about Auto, Home/Renters, Business and Life Insurance.

Writing – for the Soul of it

Whether you consider yourself a writer, a person who enjoys journal writing for personal growth or wish to explore writing as an art, “Writing for the soul of it” is for you. In this interactive 6-week workshop, we will discuss personal writing goals and explore various tools to spark the creative writing endeavor. We will also discover the many different approaches to the craft by reviewing a multitude of books, videos, ideas and concepts. All this and more, while having fun learning and growing in this artistic medium. All you need to bring to this course is a writing utensil, a notebook, journal or laptop and your imagination.

Lorraine Glowczak discovered writing at the age of 9 when her best friend gave her a diary with a gold lock and key for her birthday. Writing has grown since then and it remains her passion. Lorraine is the managing editor of The Windham Eagle newspaper.
