200-Hour Yoga Teacher/Coaching Yoga, Coaching Life Foundation Certification Program

Tracy Noyes, Yoga Alliance Professionals Certified Yoga Instructor invites all interested yoga enthusiasts, those seeking to teach or those looking to deepen their journey, to attend her Coaching Yoga, Coaching Life Certification program. The Coaching Yoga, Coaching Life Certification is built around finding your voice first – as an inspired teacher or as an inspired yogi, encouraging you to step outside of the “box”. Tuition includes 200 hours of classroom instruction covering these topics: Techniques, training and practice; teaching methodology; anatomy and physiology; yoga philosophy, lifestyle and ethics for yoga teachers; practicum, and instructional materials. The Advanced CompTIA A+ Certification Prep course focuses on fun technology. You'll learn everything you need to know to select, install, and service video, sound, and portable computers. The course teaches networking, both wired and wireless, because every well-rounded tech needs to know it. You'll learn about security, security, security. The Advanced course completes the three-course CompTIA A+ Certification Exam Prep cycle and prepares you for both the 901/902 exams and for real life as a tech.  Fee: $159

Advanced QuickBooks

This class covers the more advanced features of QuickBooks. Students will analyze reports, reconciling bank and credit cards, manage accounts receivables and payables, customize reports, customize fields, job costing, managing inventory, journal entries, and advanced tools. Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of Accounting, QuickBooks and computers required. No class 4/16.

Who doesn’t love cuddling under a big squishy throw blanket on a cold winter night? Learn how to make your very own oversized garter stitch throw or scarf – no knitting experience required. In this beginner friendly class, you will learn every step of construction, from cast on to bind off. Since you’ll be using your arms instead of knitting needles, all you need is yarn to get started . You’ll learn to cast on and bind off; arm knit with the basics and purling; put your stitches on hold; join in new balls of yarn; weave in your ends. Please ask for material list with local vendor discount upon registration.

Buying A Fixer Upper!

Are you looking for a home to fix up and live in, or for an investment property? This class will help the novice investor navigate the numerous issues that come with buying a distressed property. Industry experts will be on hand to provide information on: foreclosures/short sales/distressed properties, financing- including rehab loans, inspections, and more. Build equity and avoid the pitfalls with the knowledge you will obtain in this class. Following a short class we will board a bus to view and walk through a variety of fixer uppers. This bus tour is unique, fun and educational. You will be joined by a real estate specialist, a mortgage specialist, an inspector and a contractor. The focus is to educate participants on the realities of purchasing Foreclosures, Short Sales and Distressed Properties.

During this class you will hit multiple muscle groups and burn calories in a workout that is designed to strengthen the cardiovascular system, tone muscles, and boost balance, flexibility and endurance. All major muscle groups are challenged as you move from one muscle group to the next. This class is great for all abilities as you work to the best of your ability on each exercise. There are regressions and progressions for each exercise. The class will use your own bodyweight, gliding disks and other fitness props. Bring your own exercise mat and a set of hand weights. Please bring a water bottle! No class 4/17.
